Photographer, Director  and publisher (Denguemag and THE BEACH) born in Essen, Germany, raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and globetrotting since the age of 16.

Christian graduated in Economics and German literature at the New York University but a photography workshop with Josef Koudelka would reshape completely his professional ambitions, which grew fast and strong as he takes up photography courses in every opportunity available. He returns to Brazil to become a major contributing advertising and editorial photographer, producing celebrated images for local and international clients. As of 2017 Christian starts directing films as an extension of his story telling abilities learned in photography.

More than 20 years on the road rendered him the special ability to photograph celebrities and models or the Rio Favelas with the same sense  of regard and keen aesthetic excellence. The concepts of reality and naturalness intertwine in Christian’s work and play a fundamental role in defining the empathic nature of his photographs and how they create a sense of attraction and desire between viewer and subject. His genuine interest in people’s singularities allied to his technical  skills produce a unique and fresh portfolio.
